Service offers
We offer maintenance services to all customers who wish to find an alternative solution to the OEM. Whether the equipment is sold by EMS or not, we will always find a solution to meet your needs.
The availability of your instrument is our primary objective. Your breakdowns are dealt with as quickly as possible thanks to hand-to-hand operation and real-time communication via messaging services such as WhatsApp.
You’ll always have the same contact person who knows your installation inside out. Installing remote control tools such as TeamViewer means you can speed up diagnosis and order the right parts before intervention if necessary. Our experience in electron microscope maintenance means we can find the fault quickly.

If you want to avoid the financial ups and downs of maintaining your instrument and maximise its availability, the annual contract will cover parts, labour and travel.
The contract covers an annual preventive inspection and any necessary corrective action. Depending on your needs, we can exclude certain parts from the contract to meet your budgetary constraints.
Third-party accessories such as EDS, EBSD and Kleindiek micromanipulators are not included, nor are consumables. Consumables can be ordered directly from the manufacturer if the customer so wishes.

This “Per Diem” offer corresponds to intervention on request after an initial estimate has been drawn up, or simply carrying out a preventive inspection. This is generally the approach preferred by our customers wishing to change their FEG source.

Remote assistance is an interesting alternative solution for minimal support at lower cost.
Installation of remote control software via a secure VPN link on a third-party PC compatible with your IT infrastructure.

We offer training in the maintenance and operational use of your instruments. These can be tailored to suit your priorities.
They can involve new users who do not have sufficient experience of the instrument, or anyone wishing to acquire a minimum of skills in preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis.
You’ll be all the more autonomous and ready with solutions the first time your equipment breaks down.
EMS has expertise in Thermofisher SEM, FIB and DualBeam models.
The equipment supported to date is the xL, xP and xT generation models. Feg, SFEG and Elstar SEM columns. Prelens, Magnum, Sidewinder and Tomahawk FIB columns.
